Bhopal: Plots worth Rs 129.37 crore were allotted to 10918 poor families of the state. Madhya Pradesh‘s Tikamgarh District on Wednesday. It was a “social revolution”, the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan Said on this occasion.

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, beneficiaries can construct their own house (PMAY) and Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana, the CM said.
“Now no one will evict them from their plots,” he said.
At the ceremony, Chouhan handed over land patta papers to Bhagwan Das, Bhajanlal, Balachandra, Jasrath, Teejabai, Devendra, Rajkumar, Jagdish, Rakesh, Ram Prasad, Bablu and Rajan, among others.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of various development works worth Rs 255 crore.
He said that he had conceived the land distribution scheme on September 14, 2021, when he was visiting Mohangarh in Tikamgarh district.
Chauhan recalled that some residents of Hathiri village, including “Akhilesh, Kallan and Sonu”, told him that they did not have a house of their own.
“On that day, I decided to provide pucca houses to those who do not have their own houses and resolved to provide a piece of land to each such person,” he said.
Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and local MLA were present on the occasion among others.
