Officials said a maximum of 44,349 applications have been received for 226 plots of size 120 sqm, while 1,000 people have applied for 12 plots of size 1,000 to 2,000 sqm.

YEIDA launched the scheme on September 7 with a deadline of one month (October 7) for submission of applications. Later it was extended to 14 October. “Keeping in mind the interest factor, we had also extended the last date for filing applications,” Singh said.
Maximum 262 plots are available in 120 sqm size, followed by 67 plots in 200 sqm and 56 plots in 300 sqm. There are just four plots of 2,000 sqm size, eight in 1,000 sqm and five plots of 500 sqm size. These are located in Sector 16, 18, 20 and 22D.
Officials said 3,154 applications for 60 sqm, 7,766 for 90 sqm, 4032 for 160 sqm, 1,1057 for 200 sqm, 11,719 for 300 sqm, 737 for 500 sqm, 800 for 1,000 sqm and 2,000 There are 181 applications for the sqm. Under the scheme, applicants opting for lump sum payment will be given first priority in allotment of plots, while 50% of the lump sum amount and those paying the remaining 50% in installments will be given next priority. The last preference would be those who opt for 30% of the lump sum payment and 70% in instalments.
