Draw of lots for waiting list applicants under DDA Housing Scheme 2021 to be held on December 15

New Delhi: Delhi development Authority Officials said on Tuesday that under the Special Housing Scheme 2021, it has been decided to draw a draw on December 15 for the allotment of flats to the waiting list applicants.

The draw will be based on random number generation system and will be conducted in the presence of independent observers including a retired judge and senior officers of the central government. D.D.A said in a statement.

“The general public can watch the live telecast of the draw through the Webex platform from 3PM on 15th December. The meeting number of the Webex ID is 2510 910 7937 and the password is 12345.”

The scheme started on December 23, 2021 and closes on March 10, 2022.

18,335 flats of various categories in Dwarka, narela, Rohini And Jasola, among other places, were introduced under the scheme. These flats are those that were left “unsold in previous housing schemes” of the civic body.

The DDA had announced the scheme through a newspaper advertisement in which it stated that the flats were being sold at “discounted prices”.

The DDA conducted the draw for the scheme for the applicants on April 18, which was live-streamed.

The DDA had earlier said, “DDA had initially placed 18,335 flats located in 28 localities under the scheme. In response to this, only 12,387 applicants have deposited the required registration fee, though around 22,100 have got themselves registered.”
