KochiIn an effort to attract more IT companies to its campus, Infopark’s Cherthala The campus has announced rent free period for IT/ITES companies looking for office spaces in Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
The offer enables IT companies to enjoy offices with the same facilities and standards as the office spaces at Infopark’s main center in Kochi. Park officials said the rent-free period of six months would be applicable to new companies commencing their operations from the Cherthala complex on or before March 31, 2023.
As part of the initiative, Infopark has also arranged travel services for IT professionals coming from nearby cities, such as Voytila and alappuzhaat reasonable and affordable prices, said a press note issued by the park.
With the proposal, the park officials are hoping that the state-of-the-art infrastructure similar to Infopark Kochi will also attract IT/ITES companies to the Cherthala complex, which is surrounded by major tourist attractions of Alappuzha.
Presently, office facilities are mainly available in Chaitanya Bhawan which is within the limits of SEZ. It has plug-and-play and warm shell spaces. Companies can lease plug-and-play space in the building for Rs 44.68 per sq ft and warm shell space at Rs 26 per sq ft.
A park source said the prospect of enjoying facilities like Infopark Kochi attracts companies to Cherthala.
