npcl has sent notice to nine builders regarding multi point or single point connection

Greater Noida: Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL), which supplies electricity to Greater Noida, has sent notices to nine builders, asking them to submit applications for setting up multipoint connections or to provide consent forms from 51% of the residents to maintain the currently installed single point connections. One week’s time has been given.

Housing societies in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West, including Alpha Homes, Ace City, Samruddhi GrandPanchsheel Greens 2, Panchsheel Hi-Nish, Divyansh FloraMahagun Maywoods 6th Avenue, Gaur City 1 And Pristine AvenueThese notices have been received.

So far, NPCL has installed multipoint connections in total 39 societies and is doing or will soon do the same in 28 more. On the other hand, 73 societies have submitted applications requesting to maintain their single-point connections.

“NPCL will now strictly deal with builders and societies who have been reluctant to convert single-point connections to multipoint connections. The company has already sent notices to nine builders in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West for installation of multipoint connections.

Ganguly further informed that the societies/AOAs concerned should submit their choice of multipoint or single point connections by December 22, else NPCL will disconnect their electricity connections.

According to Ganguly, the discom is preparing to install multipoint connections in all societies in a phased manner.

The work of installing multi point connection meters is going on in six societies. “These are Saya Zion, Panchsheel Greens, Jalvayu Heights, Nirman Kunj, Bank Employees SAS and Meenakshi SAS. Apart from this, talks are going on with eight more societies of NPCL regarding multi point connection. We hope that work will start soon in all these societies as well.
