Gurugram: Residents of 16 high-rise societies where structural audit was conducted on the directions of the district administration are still waiting to hear about the findings even two weeks after the report was submitted to the authorities.

Sources said the audit report is yet to be reviewed by the district administration.

On Tuesday, families who had complained of poor construction quality or building defects in their societies said they were eager to know about the findings of the report.

The accident in Chintels Paradiso in February this year, which led to the death of two people, had prompted the district administration to shortlist 16 societies for structural audit based on complaints by residents.

The four agencies covered for the audit in August began their survey in mid-September. The process includes on-site inspection of buildings, study of any apparent defects, signs of deterioration and damage to slabs, columns and beams of structures.

These societies include DLF Park Place (Sector 54), M3M Woodshire (Sector 107), Signature Global Solera (Sector 107), Paras Irene (Sector 70A), Central Park II Bellevue (Sector 48), Antriksh Heights (Sector 84), Brisk Lumbini (Sector 109), Mapsco Casabella (Sector 82) and Mahindra Aura (Sector 110A).

Nikhil living in Raheja Atharva – another complex where the audit is to be done – said: “We have been facing several construction-related issues for the last five years, but residents have not received any support from the authorities. When asked, Gurgaon deputy commissioner Nishant Yadav told TOI: “We discussed this Friday with the audit firms. We will also call the concerned RWAs to inform them about the findings this week.
