PanchkulaThe Municipal Corporation received 1,017 applications during a two-day property tax data correction camp organized for property holders in Panchkula.
The camp was organized in view of the complaints received by the Municipal Corporation regarding wrong property tax entries during the Municipal Survey.
Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal and councilor Narendra Lubana MDC, Sector 6 inspected the camp at Community Center and instructed the staff to solve the problems faced by the people.
The Mayor said that keeping in view the convenience of the property holders and as per the instructions issued by the Urban Local Bodies Minister Kamal Gupta Correction camps were organized at 16 places for two days to prevent errors in property tax data.
The MC councilors were asked to help the people of their respective wards to get the property tax figures corrected by reaching the camps.
