Hyderabad: The state government is all set to inaugurate another 2BHK Dignity Housing Colony But ACS Nagar In Secunderabad on Thursday.
According to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation ,GHMC) According to officials, 48 houses have been provided in the Rs 3.72 crore project, which will be distributed to the eligible poor.
The project will be inaugurated by T Padma Rao Goud, deputy speaker of the state assembly, at 11 am on Thursday. Officials said each housing unit was constructed at a cost of Rs 7 lakh.
There are total five blocks having G+3 pattern. Each of the 2BHK units has a plinth area of 560sft. The colony has all the basic amenities including CC road, sewage line, drinking water and electricity facilities. Dignity Colony is part of government housing program to provide one lakh houses in 111 sectors GHMC Limit.
So far, the civic body has received more than seven lakh applications for 2BHK houses being built in the city. The applications are being scrutinized by the authorities and so far 3.4 lakh applications have been processed, while the rest were not processed due to lack of details including addresses and phone numbers.
