RWA general secretary Deepak Verma said, “If things don’t improve, we will stop paying any bills and taxes to the corporation.”

Similarly, residents of Sector 40 also protested against the MCG. “We are demanding desilting of drains, installation of rain water harvesting system, repair of lights, renovation of parks and construction of water boosting station. We will intensify the protest if no action is taken,” said Bhupendra Yadav, RWA president of the sector.

MCG joint commissioner Naresh Kumar said, “The colony has infrastructure deficiencies which should have been rectified by the developer. We are doing development work in Sushant Lok 1 and other works are under tender process or estimate preparation. The infrastructure in Sector 40 is out of date. It takes time and people need to understand it.
