Pune: The state government has announced a one-time 50% concession on stamp duty for developers of integrated township projects.
An official of the revenue department said, the concession can be availed at the time of purchase of land or sale of units, but not for both. A Government Resolution (GR) was issued on 20 June declaring a concession for such projects except for the entire state Mumbai City, Lonavala Hill stations, and environmentally sensitive areas.
The GR states that projects approved by the authority will be given the concession with retrospective effect from 2018.

This initiative will encourage more such proposals and those who have not availed the concession can do so for their next project, said a revenue official. “The GR clearly mentions that the developer of a project, which has been approved by the Collector or the Competent Authority, can avail the concession only once. The exemption or reduction in stamp duty under this Order shall either The project proponent is applicable for the purchase of land from the land owner or the transaction of agreement to sell or transfer any unit under any user in the notified integrated township project,” the official said.
PMRDA has received proposals for 13 integrated townships. There have been many offers ThaneRaigad, and Konkan.
The developers executing the integrated townships in Pune said that the exemption was part of the policy and a GR was required to be issued in this regard.
