Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Housing Board ,chb) will start a new round of e-auction of its residential and commercial properties from Wednesday.
There will be 40 residential freehold properties and 88 commercial leasehold properties on offer. Bid submission will start from June 14. The last date is 5 July. Bids will be opened on the same day. CHB has added eight residential properties to its previous auction held in May.
Residential properties include two bedrooms, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) units and Category IV properties Indira Colony, Manimajra,
The most expensive residential properties are 2-bedroom houses in Sector 51A, with a reserve price of Rs 92.78 lakh to Rs 1.07 crore.
In the latest auction held on May 31, out of 35 residential properties, only two could be sold. In April’s auction, four of the 38 residential freehold properties were sold.
In March, only eight residential properties out of 44 were offered to the CHB. In February, 49 residential properties were offered, but only seven could be sold.
