Hyderabad: Fisheries Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav Inaugurated 210 double bedroom houses built at a cost of 17.8 crores SPR Hills In Kamalanagar Below Jubilee Hills constituency on thursday
Srinivas said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Will fulfill the government’s poll promise of building one lakh 2BHK Maryada Awas for the urban poor.
“The Kamalangar project consists of two blocks and has seven lifts. A 100 kiloliter capacity water tank, quality power supply and 15 shops have been provided for the campus. , The rent earned from the 15 shops will be used for the maintenance of the complex,” said the minister.
The government has spent 8.5 lakhs on each 2BHK flat and so far 89 houses have been distributed. The remaining 121 will be handed over to the eligible families after verifying their details.
The minister said that priority will be given to those living nearby and having Aadhaar, electricity, water bills and ration cards during allotment.
“We will constitute a separate selection committee for the purpose,” the minister said.
Srinivas said that the distribution of 2BHK houses in Murlidhar Bagh has already been completed and the process has started for the Erragadda project as well.
