Enforcement Directorate (ED) has started probing the real estate developer Ansal API said people aware of the development, and sought details on one of the company’s Gurgaon projects on Thursday.

Uttar Pradesh’s real estate regulator had accused Ansal API for fund diversion of ₹600 crore in its Lucknow project in 2019 based on the report of an external forensic auditor.
According to officials, earlier the ED had also sought information from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of UP and the Lucknow Police.
Pranav Ansal, Promoter of Ansal API said, “The Enforcement Directorate officials came to the offices of several builders like M3M, IREO, Krish and others whose details I am sure you have about some of the routine queries that were provided to them Were.”
Ansal denied that his company was being probed for any economic offences.
Ansal said, “It has nothing to do with any Economic Offenses Wing complaint. Our Gurgaon colony is ready and has over 1,000 residents. All their queries were answered.”
Separately, the ED has attached assets worth ₹1,300 crore in a money laundering case against IREO Group. According to a May 11 report in The Times of India, the M3M group has been under the scanner of the ED. Krish Group’s offices were raided in connection with the Central Bureau of Investigation probe, Hindustan Times reported on July 13, 2019.
Ansal API was admitted for insolvency proceedings on November 16, 2022. Ashwini Kumar Singla, a former State Bank of Patiala The officer has been appointed by the National Company Law Tribunal as the resolution professional of the company.
