Established in 1958 by filmmaker Kamal Aarohi, Kamalistan Studio Known for blockbuster Bollywood films including Pakeezah, Razia Sultan and Amar Akbar Anthony. It is located in Jogeshwari, a western suburb of Mumbai.
In March 2022, RMZ at Bengaluru and cpp investment announced that they have entered into a joint venture to develop and hold commercial office space in major cities across India.
This was the second JV between RMZ and CPPIB, following their first JV formed in 2021 to develop and manage approximately 10 million sq ft of Grade A commercial office space in Hyderabad and Chennai.
The total capital commitment by CPP Investments in the joint venture will be ₹2,650 crore to support the development and acquisition of projects across India.
“The Kamalistan redevelopment project will be undertaken through a joint platform that counts RMZ as a development partner. The proposed project will have a total of 4.89 million sq ft of leasable commercial space across eight office towers,” said one of the persons cited above. he said.
