Noida: Residents of a condominium Greater Noida Opposing the efforts to build a temple in the general area of the society.

“Some residents have started constructing a shed-like structure illegally and are being supported by the builder. We have submitted a letter to the District Magistrate and UPSIDA On 29 April. It (the temple) will not only reduce the common area, which is already in controversy for violation of Floor Area Ratio (FAR), but will also leave little space for children to play,” Yadav said.
The 554-unit complex, of which 450 are occupied, is still being managed by the developer. Its Occupation Certificate (OC) and Completion Certificate (CC) are pending since 2016.
As the maintenance of the society is still under the builder, the residents said that the onus is on the developer to prevent any encroachment.
According to residents, UPSIDA regional manager Anil Kumar Sharma has written to Surajpur SHO Awadhesh Pratap Singh on the matter and the latter has directed senior inspector Dharamveer Singh to initiate action.

Sandeep Bacheti, a resident, claimed, “Following this directive, some policemen came to our premises last week, but no representative of the group of residents who built the structure or the builder was available, so they went back.”
Inderbir Singh, President Migson Group, told TOI that he had not built or given permission for any such structure on the complex and had no role in it. “A temporary shed, which is not a part of our project layout, is being constructed by some residents of the society for the purpose of worship and is a matter between a group of two residents. We have no role to play in this. However, if we If we get the consent (of the residents) to remove it, then we will send our letter to the police personnel concerned to remove it,” Singh said. He said that he has applied for OC.
