Officials have informed that the actual land requirement has increased from 772.93 acres to 985.55 acres considering the requirement of land acquisition for approach roads for the three bridges being planned along the project section. KIIFB had allocated an amount of Rs 87.18 crore in March 2022 based on the earlier proposal.

Considering the requirement of additional land for the project, the estimate has crossed Rs 100 crore, officials said, adding that an amount of Rs 124.74 crore would be required for land acquisition and is based on fair value.
