Pune: 11,784 out of 17,510 registered housing societies in the city or 67% of them do not have a vehicle or deemed vehicle, the report said Pune Recently the Cooperative Department to the District Collector.

He said that now the problem will be solved through region-wise separate monthly camps. The drive for deemed conveyance has been on since 2011 and a total of 3,991 orders were issued for these housing societies till last month. while total 1921 transport work Raut said many housing societies that were executed by developers are yet to get registered with the property registration department and get updated details on property cards from the city survey office.

With around 63% housing societies in the state not having conveyances, the cooperative department has launched taluka and ward-wise monthly camps to identify housing societies and speed up the process of ensuring land ownership for such units . There are around 1.15 lakh registered housing societies in Maharashtra.

Of these, 72,476 do not have vehicle or land ownership.

An official of the Cooperative Department told that after identifying the societies, the camps will be organized by inviting the representatives of the housing societies, sub-district registrars and members of the housing federation.

The cooperative department had issued a detailed circular in this regard earlier this month.

State cooperative department officials said that the department is ready to organize camps not once but twice and thrice a month to help the housing societies.

“For new housing societies, the deemed vehicle is to be executed every four months if the developer is not willing to carry out the normal vehicle. As far as old housing societies are concerned, once the application for the society Deemed conveyance can be done after that.” officers.

The District Deputy Registrar said that many members of the society do not follow the explained vehicle.

“We have also created social media groups to help housing societies,” the official said. Members of the State Housing Federations are running a special drive to ensure that more housing societies apply for deemed conveyance.

“The process is simple. Our members are spreading awareness about the need of the explained vehicle. Many housing societies in pune The city has shown its interest for the same, but it would have helped if there was a single window system,” said Suhas Patwardhan, vice-president, State Cooperative Housing Federation. Housing society members said holding camps once a month was not enough.

“These camps should be well-coordinated,” said a member of a housing society who has been waiting for transport to be considered for nearly 15 years. Another housing society in Undri has been waiting for the same for 20 years. A member of the society said, “There is a lot of fighting among the members and many do not have the required documents.”

In March, an app was launched by members of state housing federations with the help of the cooperation department to guide housing societies about the process of getting a conveyance deed or deemed conveyance done.

Members said that the videos on the app cover topics related to deemed conveyance, its process, mutation entry.

The Federation has also started a free lecture series on Conveying Land in the name of Housing Societies.
