Bhiwe Workspace launches new co-working space with 5,000 desks in Bengaluru

New Delhi: The Co-Working Firm Bhiwe Vertical said on Thursday that it has started a new center in Bangalore With a capacity of 5,000 seats as it seeks to tap the growth in demand for flexible office space.

The company said in a statement that it has expanded its co-working portfolio Garuda Bhiwe Vertical In BTM LayoutBangalore.

Co-Working Center, developed in collaboration with Garuda GroupSpread over 2 lakh sq ft and will offer over 5,000 seats.

BHIVE has already leased space to startups in the healthcare tech, digital banking, insurance and apparel industries.

With the addition of this facility, BHEV’s total co-working portfolio has reached 1.4 million sq ft, with a total of 40,000 seats in Bengaluru.

According to a recently released report by FICCI-Colliers India, the total gross office leasing in 2022 across six cities – Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai was 50.3 million sq ft. Out of this, co-working operators took 70 lakh square feet area on lease, which is 14 percent.

Co-working operators provide workspace to corporates, after taking office space on lease from real estate developers and property owners.
