Jaipur: To compete with private builders in the state, Rajasthan Housing Board ,rhb) has hit upon a unique scheme to train the engineers of the board Vaastu Shaastra,

Officials said that there has been a huge demand among potential buyers to buy Vastu compliant properties and most of the private builders are constructing Vastu compliant properties.

“In today’s era, the priority of common people is to buy a Vastu compliant building or property. Keeping in mind the demands of our potential buyers, we are conducting a workshop on Vastu Shastra for our concerned officials,” said Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora.

According to senior RHB officials, Vastu is important for the civil works of the property. He said that it is also important for interior decoration.

RHB plans to construct and sell three types of fully furnished properties in the coming times – one having 3BHK units, one having 4BHK units and the third having villas. Pratap nagar City area. All these properties are of HIG category.

The workshop on Vastu Shastra will be organized at Awas Bhawan Headquarters of RHB in Jaipur.

For this the Housing Board has engaged the Indian Council of Astronomical Science (ICAS) to train officers of the level of Divisional Secretary, Chief Estate Manager, Chief Engineer, Additional Chief Engineer, Deputy Housing Commissioner and so on. Residential engineer.

“Interior decoration is an important part of Vastu Shastra. But there are other important aspects like proper way of land acquisition, road mapping and civil works. These are areas where engineers make mistakes. I am going to give a vision to the RHB officials on these aspects. Hopefully, this will be a continuous process,” Pt. Satish Sharma, senior national vice-president of Jaipur-based ICAS, told TOI.

ICAS was established in 1984 and is headquartered in Chennai.

Workshops on Vastu Shastra for government organizations had recently become a trend in the country. Many State Governments and Central Government Departments had started organizing such workshops. In November 2022, CPWD had organized such a workshop for the engineers and architects of the department.
