Kolkata: After a gap of 13 years, KMDA will allocate 11 persons residential Plots ranging from two to four kathas in Kasba and Rajdanga areas. The plots will be given on freehold basis through e-auction as per the latest policy of the government.

Officials said the last time small plots of land in and around Kasba and Rajdanga were allotted through lottery were in 2009-2010, when it was given on lease.

Under the new policy, the state will transfer land on freehold basis, except for certain and vested land. “The process of allotting small individual residential plots is being restarted after many years. A KMDA official said the EOI for inviting applications is expected to be issued this week.
