Indore, Indore Municipal Corporation ,imc) sealed three buildings on Friday commercial Use without obtaining permission and certificate.
According to senior IMC officials, a work completion and occupancy certificate from the civic body is required after any building is constructed and before it can be used.
“A G+2 floor building constructed in a 5,000 sq ft plot in Ward 41 was confiscated on Friday as the builder/owner started commercial use of the same without obtaining completion and occupancy certificate” IMC building officer Ghazal Khanna Said.
Taking similar action, the IMC team has sealed a building located in middle man area without obtaining requisite permission and certificate.
“In Scheme-94, a hotel was being operated as a commercial use of a newly constructed building without obtaining work completion and occupancy certificate,” he said, adding that the IMC is also probing whether the buildings sealed today I have someone or not.
