SimplyWork Office invests Rs 40 cr on two centers in Kolkata, Real Estate News, ET Real Estate

New Delhi: Based in Bengaluru simple work officepartnered Salarpuria SattvaRs 40 crore has been invested in two centers – Godrej Waterside And IT LagoonSpread over 1.5 lakh sq ft Kolkatathe company said in a media release.

The company aims to grow 2.5 times by the end of March 2024 and is expected to add another 4 lakh sq ft in the city over the next three years.

The company’s CEO and founder Kunal Walia said, “Today, many large organizations are looking for office space in Kolkata. After experimenting with satellite offices, especially flexible office set-ups, during the pandemic, businesses are now implementing them. Looking to do. In the long term. We aim to add another 4L sq. ft. to the city in the next 3 years.

Founded in 2018, SimplyWork Office leases to large corporates with 80 percent per-desk model and the remaining 20 percent per-square foot model.

Currently, it has 85+ centers spread across 4.2 million sq. ft. in India. In 2022, SimplyWork projects around 70-72% growth in its topline, and will close FY23 with around 49,000-50,000 desks. Their business plan for FY24 is to add around 2 – 2.2 million sq ft of space, which will involve capex of around Rs 350 crore.

The company is targeting around 50% growth in its portfolio in the coming year. They are also exploring fundraising options with an aim to go public in the next 3-4 years.
