Brick & Bolt raises $10M from Accel and Celesta Capital

New Delhi: Brick and Bolt, A custom-build homes Platform, has raised $10 million co-led by global venture capital firms Excel And Celesta Capital,

The company plans to use the funding to enhance its tech stack, strengthen its leadership team and expand to 12+ cities over the next 15 months.

“This investment will help us accelerate our growth as we look to expand to other cities and add more senior leadership to the team. We are also in line to supply construction materials for captive projects and contracts. ” Jayesh RajpurohitCo-Founder of Brick & Bolt.

Silix CapitalAn international investment-banking firm, has advised the Series A2 round.

“Indian real estate is set to be a $650 billion market by 2025 and a sector worth $1 trillion in 2030. With 85%+ of construction in India still unorganised, brick and bolts are poised to capture the massive and super-fragmented market is on its way to our technology and processes,” Rajpurohit said.

With this investment round, Brick & Bolt has raised a total of $16 million. The company had previously raised approximately $6 million in funding from Sequoia Surge, Foundational GmbH, HDFC Capital Advisors and Stride Ventures.

Established in 2018, Brick & Bolt follows an e-commerce model and provides end-to-end services including home building, construction and building materials for businesses.
