ADM Rajesh Rathore informed that the state government has issued Policy-2022 to develop ‘Su-Raj Colony’ on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode without using government funds. Multistorey apartments will be developed on the land freed from encroachment.
The policy states that each flat in these apartments will have 30-50 square meters of carpet area. “In Indore, the administration has so far freed around 200 hectares from mafias,” the ADM said, adding that the administration has identified at least 10 such places to develop ‘Su-Raj Colony’.
As per the policy, the municipal body will be able to sell the flat at the market rate and without any subsidy to the buyer after the EWS category eligible person is exempted from receiving the application. Only need-based development of Su-Raj Colony will be done.
