4.7k flats unsold, housing board cuts rates by 20%

Ghaziabad: The UP Housing Board Has reduced the rates of residential units by 20% in all its housing projects to bring the rates in line with the market rates. There are around 4,700 unsold houses under the Housing Board’s schemes Siddharth Vihar And mandola,

State Housing Board property in-charge Sunil Kumar Sharma said, “We have decided to reduce the rates of residential units under all UP Housing Board housing schemes by 20% to match the market rates and entice homebuyers Can go.”

“In various housing schemes in the district, there are around 4,700 unsold units. For example, in Siddhartha Vihar, out of 1,292 units under the Ganga, Yamuna and Hindon In the plans, there are 700 unsold units,” said Sharma. In Mandola, out of 7,500 units, around 4,000 are still unsold.

Officials said the estimated cost of a 1-BHK under the Housing Board schemes is Rs 69.45 lakh, while a 2-BHK costs Rs 87 lakh and a 3-BHK costs Rs 1.15 crore.

“To create awareness among buyers, we are developing an online portal where buyers can apply for residential units. We will conduct an awareness campaign in the Housing Board office to popularize the offer Vasundhara Every Saturday,” said Sharma.

At least ten builder projects are coming up in Siddharth Vihar, spread over 635 acres. Around 40,000 people have started living in the Brahmaputra and Kanshiram Yojana houses and the Ganga, Yamuna and Hindon towers developed by the Housing Board.

Siddharth Vihar’s location is strategic, near the Hindon River. While one side is next to the DME, the other side is near the upcoming RRTS corridor. The Red Line Metro Line is also just a few kilometers away from the Siddharth Vihar.

Its proximity to the Pratap Vihar Ganga Jal water treatment plant has also worked in its favour. While there are many areas in Ghaziabad where the demand for Gangajal is high, the UP Jal Nigam is still not able to supply it there. Siddharth Vihar is all set to get Ganga water by the end of December due to its proximity to the water treatment plant.

“The fact that Ganga water supply will start very soon makes our projects at Siddharth Vihar more attractive. Along with this, the reduction in property rates will go a long way in wooing homebuyers,” said Sharma.
