Amaravati: Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh Has said that no state government in the country has started construction of houses for the poor, as started by the YSRCP government. Andra Pradesh,
He said that the State Government has sanctioned about 31 lakh houses in the last three years and construction has picked up pace in almost all sectors. Jagannath Housing Colonies, He said TDP has launched a false campaign as it is unable to digest facts.
Ramesh said that Naidu has once again exposed himself as anti-poor. He said that Naidu would never tolerate the poor being benefitted and climbing the ladder of economic development. He said that Naidu has always worked for corporate companies and realtors and it was not surprising that Naidu was disappointed to see the progress of the poor during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule.
“The Center had not given any permission PMAY Houses during 2019-20 due to COVID-19. It has sanctioned 1.79 lakh houses for 2020-21, for which the chief minister had laid the foundation stone in Visakhapatnam in April. Around 70,000 houses were nearing completion,” he said.
He said that there is no truth in the fact that the state government has been able to complete only five houses in the last three years. He said that the Union Minister’s answer in the Parliament regarding the five houses is related to the TDP rule. He said that Naidu and his media houses were unable to see the progress of houses being constructed in Jagannath Housing Colonies.
He further said that they have already completed 3 lakh houses out of 18 lakh sanctioned by the Center in the last three years and the remaining are also nearing completion.
“We are going to win all the 175 seats in the state because of the welfare programs launched by Chief Minister Reddy because people are with us. Naidu is worried about the party’s prospects in the next elections as he is unable to garner support even from his own party workers.
He wanted to know why Naidu could not provide even a single house to the poor during his five-year-long tenure. He asked the ‘media owned by Naidu’ to visit Jagannath Colonies and see the progress. He challenged Naidu and former minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu to face a CBI inquiry against irregularities committed during their regime.
