Uttar Pradesh Real Estate regulator Authority (UP WrongA penalty of Rs 1 crore 39 lakh has been imposed against 13 promoters after reviewing the status of compliance of their orders by the promoters.
The Authority is making continuous efforts to ensure compliance of its orders and to provide speedy justice to the aggrieved allottees. The penal action against the guilty promoters is an important step towards forcing them to comply with the orders of the Authority.
The Authority, in exercise of its powers under Section 38/63 of the RERA Act, which empowers it to penalize non-compliance promoters up to 5% of the cost of the project, decided to impose penalty against
SRB Promoters Pvt. Ltd., Gardenia India Promoters Pvt. Ltd., AIIMS Golf Town Developers Pvt. Ltd., MV Infrastructure & Housing Pvt. Ltd., Elegant Infracon Pvt. Ltd., Radicon Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.decent buildwell Pvt. Ltd., Uttam Steel & Associates (Consortium), JSS Buildcon Pvt. Ltd.Earthcon Construction Pvt. Ltd., Bhavya Infradevelopers Pvt. Ltd., Aura Buildwell Pvt. Ltd. and Green Bay Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.
The Authority further directed the promoters to submit the compliance report of their orders within 15 days and the amount of fine within 30 days, otherwise the amount of fine would be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
