Chandigarh: A Chandigarh Housing Board ,chbA three-bedroom flat in Sector 63 was sold for Rs 1.50 crore against the reserve price of Rs 1.12 crore in the auction that concluded on Tuesday.
Two other three-bedroom units in Sector 63 were sold for Rs 1.47 crore and Rs 1.38 crore against the same reserve price of Rs 1.12 crore.
Total 167 properties both commercial and residential, were up for auction. CHB can sell 28 of these. Of the total 74 freehold residential sites, 26 can be sold; The only freehold commercial site for sale was also auctioned. Only one of the 92 leasehold commercial sites was auctioned. CHB earned Rs 21.74 crore in the auction.

In the last auction held on November 10, a three-bedroom flat in Sector 63 was sold for Rs 1.36 crore against the reserve price of Rs 1.07 crore.
A two bedroom flat in Sector 63 sold for Rs 95.56 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 72.56 lakh. One and two bedroom flats in Sector 63 sold for Rs 81.56 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 72.56 lakh. Most of the residential units put up for auction were located in Sector 63 and 26-E.
CHB earned Rs 7.62 crore against the total reserve price of Rs 6.81 crore from the sale of 13 units, which include 10 residential units on freehold basis and three commercial properties on leasehold basis. 10 residential units acquired CHB for Rs. 6.72 crore against a total reserve price of Rs 5.92 crore and three commercial units at Rs 89.39 lakh against a reserve price of Rs 89.18 lakh.
