Jaipur: To maintain a balance between Jaipur and other important cities and towns of the state, Rajasthan Rajasthan The focus of the Housing Board will be on the districts for the next few years.
The board plans to construct 4,386 projects in around 18 district towns of the state as against only 1,546 within the city limits. what’s more? There will be a large number of projects coming up in the districts HIG and premium categories.
“So far, we had manufactured around 3,000 HIGs outside Jaipur and all these HIGs were sold out. There is a huge demand for HIG flats in the districts as well. We are expecting that all the upcoming projects will attract bids ten times the number of residential units,” Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora told TOI.
rhb Officials had claimed that, since the inception of the board, it focused on several areas of Jaipur and over the years it mainly focused on upcoming areas like Mansarovar and Pratap Nagar.
However, a number of projects are coming up in these two areas after the board decided to shift its focus to district cities and towns, where there is already a huge demand for complexes and luxury independent villas.
“Though the city is expanding, the present demand does not make sense in building properties one after the other. If these buildings remain unsold, we will have to gradually reduce (the bid) year after year. , it has been decided to focus on districts and plan projects according to demand.
According to the preliminary plan, Jodhpur will have the maximum number of projects in the next one and a half to two years. A total of 949 flats will be built in Jodhpur district, out of which 30 will be of HIG category and 146 will be of MIG-II category. However, districts like Kishangarh (40), Beawar (45) in Ajmer district and Bundi (61) will have the maximum number of HIG units.
