We would like to inform you that as per your instructions, we are paying the shifting charges to the residents of towers E, F, G and H,” said the developer, adding that moving out of the towers is only an order by the administration. DTP Yadav told TOI, “Tower F of the society will be inspected and the situation will be reviewed. An appeal will be made to both the families currently living there to move out.
Meanwhile, senior advocate Prashant Bhushan, appearing for Chintels RWA in the Supreme Court, has sent a notice to the deputy commissioner to issue notices to the allottees of the society to vacate the flats. disaster management act Without rent settlement.
In the notice, Bhushan said that under the Disaster Management Act, notice cannot be given without paying the rent. In the case of Tower D, the DTP had directed Chintels India to sublet or rent out alternate flats to the owners along with the shifting charges. Subsequently, the same order was extended to the residents of Towers E, F, G, H as well. But now the builder management is not paying rent to the allottees of Tower E, F, G, H.
According to the notice, the District Magistrate has been clearly told that Chintels India will have to pay the shifting charges along with the rent till an agreement is reached between the builder management and the allottee under the Disaster Management Act.
