The residents alleged that these activities were not only causing loss of revenue to the exchequer but also causing inconvenience to the residents by putting extra burden on the infrastructure and parking problem.
“There is a provision to use 25 per cent space on the ground floor of residential plots for non-nuisance activities like clinics, lawyers and other offices, but no property had taken any such permission from the department,” said an official.
