Offices, unsold flats sealed in 3 projects worth over ₹1,000 crore, ET Real Estate

Noida: The Noida The authority sealed marketing offices on Thursday and three projects with outstanding dues of over Rs 1,000 crore remained unsold.

Action taken against two projects of Gardenia Group for non-payment of dues of Rs 707 crore in Sectors 46 and 75, and a logics Project in Sector 137 due to non-payment of Rs 380 crore

On Thursday, a team of officials from the Group Housing, Planning and Work Circle Departments conducted a sealing drive. In Gardenia Glory A tower with 110 unsold flats and a project office in Sector 46 were sealed.

The project was awarded in September 2009. Occupancy certificates have been issued to seven out of 20 sanctioned towers. As of March 31, the builder owed Rs 603 crore.

In another project in Sector 75, the authority sealed an unsold flat. The project was approved in 2012.

The builder owes the authority more than Rs 103 crore.

In Logix Blossom County Two unsold flats, two store locations and a marketing office in Sector 137 were sealed.

Prasoon Dwivedi, OSD, Group Housing Department, said, “The developers have not applied under the rescheduling policy or the flat registry scheme. Even after giving repeated notices, he did not deposit any amount with the authority. Similar action will be taken against defaulter builders in future also for execution of pending registries and recovery of dues.
