Gurugram: Town and Country Planning Department while taking action on a complaint (DTCP) has issued a show cause notice to the developer of Vatika India Next Society for installing gates at exit and entry points and allowing commercial outlets to operate within the residential area in clear violation of the approved layout and terms and conditions of the licence.

According to DTCP The directions to install gates at entry and exit points in licensed colonies are illegal, if prior permission is not taken from the competent authority, as envisaged in the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
