GurugramResident of : Adani Oyster Grande They staged a protest in Sector 102 on Sunday against the developer whom they alleged was refusing to hand over the maintenance of the society to the elected RWA.
Launched in 2012, the society with over 750 flats received the occupancy certificate in 2018. The RWAs were elected in October last year and since then they have been demanding handing over the maintenance to the residents’ association.
He alleged that the developer was negligent regarding the maintenance and safety standards in the society. He also said that the roads, parks and common areas were not being maintained properly, while the sewage treatment plant was not functioning properly. The residents alleged that the developer is refusing to pay Rs 30 crore, which it had collected from the residents as IFMS (Interest Fee Maintenance Security) fund.

“The maintenance of the society is looked after by internationally reputed property consultants and no such complaints have been received. It is incorrect to say that Rs 30 crore will not be returned as it has been clarified that the promoters will hand over only after obtaining the completion certificate from the authority.
