Residents of Noida: Savior Park Society In Ghaziabad Protested by the builder on the charge of selling convenience stores Making more entry and exit gates for outsiders.

Residents said that this has raised concerns about security. while they complained about Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has also not taken any action so far.

“Our primary concern is security. The builder has converted convenience stores in commercial stores and sold them. Also, a lot of entry and exit gates are restricted,” said Sandeep Verma, resident Savior Park Society,

The indefinite strike of the residents started from Friday. They could not continue due to the imposition of Section 144 following the killing of Atiq Ahmed in Prayagraj on Sunday.

Apart from the issue of shops, the residents also complained about the menace of stray dogs in the society.

“Group housing does not include commercial shops. The building byelaws also state that convenience shops will be constructed for the use of the residents of the concerned group housing,” said another resident.

The residents also complained that the builder is not only not paying heed to the requests of the residents, but is also threatening them with filing a false case.

“We are asking what is right. We have tried everything possible to resolve it but nothing has worked. So protest is our last option,” said Kanchan Arora, a resident.

The builder did not respond to calls.
