Housing ministry blacklists two firms engaged in construction of NBCC Green View in Gurugram ET Real Estate

New Delhi: The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has blacklisted two firms, which were engaged in the construction of the ill-fated building. NBCC Green View in the project GurgaonFor doing shoddy work for two years, he was banned from taking any work from the ministry.

These entities – Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd and Ramacivil Construction Pvt Ltd – have also been barred from taking any work from any affiliated unit of the ministry, autonomous bodies and central public sector enterprises.

NBCC Green View Building in Sector-37D was declared unsafe by IIT, Delhi and residents were asked to vacate the flats.

The National Building Construction Corporation had informed about this ministry of housing that both companies had used a “sub-standard quality of work, resulting in poor construction quality and causing distress to home buyers”.

The ministry had subsequently issued show cause notices seeking clarification as to why the companies should not be debarred from business transactions with the ministry.

After receiving feedback from these firms and examination of NBCCOn the pleas and report of the expert committee, the ministry passed an order to blacklist the companies by March 29, 2025.
