Kochi: Investment Services Firm Geojit Financial Services Ltd. has tied up with Info Park A new office space is to be set up here with a built-up area of 1.25 lakh sq.ft.
Infopark CEO Sushant Kurunthil and Geojit Managing Director CJ GeorgeEarlier this week, it entered into a lease agreement for 1.25 acres of land for building IT infrastructure.
“The project at Infopark Kochi Phase II will see development of 1.25 lakh sq ft of built-up area and is expected to be completed in three phases,” Infopark said in a release.
In the first phase, Geojit will start construction on 55,000 sq ft of space to host its data centre, customer service and peripheral operations.
“The Infopark will help Geojit to expand our technology team as well as our data centre, which is expected to be a key player amidst this flurry of activity to further grow Geojit’s business,” George said.
Kurunthil termed the partnership with Geojith as a great partnership. “It will attract firms that see Kerala as an emerging fintech hub. The partnership has the potential to catapult large companies and will lead to job creation and better investments,” he added.
As part of the project, the new campus will have a host of facilities such as tele-trading centre, customer experience development centre, software lab and ample parking facilities.
