Noida: Soon, 1,139 home buyers from three builder projects in Greater Noida (West) will also join Noida Extensionwill eventually acquire ownership rights Greater Noida Authority has given permission for registration of these flats.
”On Monday, CEO of Greater Noida Authority. NG Ravi Kumar Authorization letters were handed over to the representatives of the builders. He directed them to start the registration process for the buyers’ flats without any further delay,” an official statement said.
The three builders concerned are Samruddhi, Coco County and Prosper, and they have already deposited the required amount, thereby issuing occupancy certificates and allowing registration of 1,139 flats.
Of the 1,139 flats, Samruddhi has 216 flats, Coco County has 571 and Prosper Group Housing Project has 352, said Soumya Srivastava, officer on special duty of the authority.
Kumar stressed on the need to expedite the registration process for flats in the names of buyers, the statement said.
“As soon as the dues are cleared by the builders, the authority will immediately issue occupancy certificates and allow registration of these flats,” Kumar was quoted as saying.
There are thousands of completed and pending flats in Greater Noida. Registry of flats despite possession by home buyers has remained a long-standing problem in the sector for many years.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also assured residents of finding a “permanent solution” to the jam.
